Used "Automatic Visa Revalidation Rule" for entering US from Canada

Just wanted to let you guyz know that i have Used "Automatic Visa Revalidation Rule" for entering US from Canada, there were Issues at all, i entered US through
Peace Bridge.
I am planning to Visit Canada again, and wanna use "AVR"
but did u land in canada for immigration purposes? with ur AOS pending iN US?

Zoom, I appreciate you having started this thread, I have a suggession - Can you please
- give a little back ground as to why we are starting this effort

- Also some one mentioned that Aman was even considering SELLING his house to support OUR cause.
- what we intend to accomplish by this effort
- The manner in which the money that is collected will be admistered ( If this has not been finalized may be just mention that this is WIP)
- what our target is.
If you add all this information in the initial post it will give direction and substance to this effort.

Although the thread title says "Reimburse the core team" and I know that the core team will not take any money (and do not expect the memebrs to reimburse them) from the fund that we are planning on creating here...Stilll by contributing to this fund we can make sure that core does not have to bear any out of pocket personal expense in future while working on "our" goal.
Lets see how many of us are actually inetested in contributing. Once we have the number we can set a realistic goal and divide amongst ourselves.
For that I suggest we give this thread good two days to develop and check other members responses...

I really find it amusing how expectations change. Before getting GC it everyone was wishing for approval.
Now after approval, you are equating happiness to how your name appears on the card? Come on.. give me a break.
Look at the big picture that you have the GC approved. All these other things are trivial.

Me and my wife got our physical cards today. Buit the issue is my wife last name hasnt not been changed to my last name. It is still her maiden name. We have requested them while filing for I-485 with our marriage certificate.
We can still live with this but there SSn, Passport everything has been changed to my last name already. even has EAD card had my last name.
Any sugguestion as wat can be done. We r afraid were gettin our green card happiness will take a while now.

8/19/2008(Monday) 7 AM: Got "Welcoming the new Permanent resident.." email, saying 485 was approved on 8/18/2008.
8/19/2008(Monday) 9 PM: Got "Card production Ordered" Email.
8/22/2008(Friday) 1 PM: Got "Approval Notice Sent" Email.
8/23/2008(Saturday) : Got Physical Welcome notice on I797 form, mailed by USCIS on 8/18/2008
8/25/2008(Monday): Got PHYSICAL CARDS in mail. :)

My wife and I just got receipts for our I-485, I-140, AP and EAD. The "received date" is July 7 and the "Notice Date" is September 13. I also confirmed that the checks were cashed.
I remember my attorney saying that the applications were filed at NSC but somehow my receipts came from VSC. And this morning I receive an update that my I-485 has been transferred to TSC! Here is the detail:
"On September 20, 2007, we transferred this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER
PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our TEXAS SERVICE CENTER location for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer".

Count me too. I am from NSC to CSC, my case is still in CA only.I don't know what is happening. I have opned 2 SR's also. I am a july 2 nd filer.

What we are asking is just fairness and transparency in the system.
Though I will benifit if the OP's idea succeeds. I agree with eb3_nepa. We need to do something that will help everyone. Its not fair to seek relief to only some section of the community.

How do you know that people with more recent priority dates are getting approved and you have been left out? You know this because these members of IV share this info with you and you are talking about using this info against them.
I won't be surprised if this will discourage people to just silently leave the forum after getting approvals.
well if they want to do that.. they can do that... wont discourage us from fighting this injustice against everyone in the legal immigration community... i for one consider the plight of EB-3 at this time to be more than that of EB-2... but why are just fighting among ourselves... instead of doing something as a group ??

Just finished sending the emails.It was very simple and the email from LogicLife was good one...
Used the autofill option and it was really very easy to do that...
